Guidelines for contributors

  • All contributions should be submitted in duplicate, on an A4 sized paper, with5 lines spacing between the lines the matter should be left aligned, with a one and a half inch margin on the right and typed in a 12-point sized font. Computer print outs of the article and abstract along with CD with the article stored in it, would be required.
  • Article should also be send by e-mail at davpgcvns@gmail.com.
  • For the manuscript in English ‘Time New Roman’ font, Title 14 point and text 12 point on A4 size is
  • Article should not be more than 6000 words. This word limit should be inclusive of all notes, references, tables, annexures and appendices.
  • References should be embedded in the text in a consistent style, for instance (Sen, 2003). The full details of this reference should then be provided in the reference list in an alphabetical order starting with the author (s) name, year, and title of the document, name of the journal/publisher, volume number and Page number.
  • All articles should be accompanied by an abstract of 100-150 words only with three to four
  • The article should also include (i) the name(s) of the author(s) (ii) their professional affiliations (iii) postal address and (iv) phone numbers and email
  • All articles submitted for consideration for publication in the Journal would be refereed by the group of experts (according to Journal’s refereeing system).
  • Contribution and Refereeing Fees
  • Contributors of the articles would be required to pay Rs. 1000/- ($ 95 for other than Indian) by a demand draft drawn in favor of the ‘Journal of Economics and Commerce’, payable at Varanasi.
  • Book Review
  • Two copies of newly published books should reach the managing editor accompanied with a demand draft of Rs. 1000 ($ 95 for other than Indian) drawn in favor of the ‘Journal of Economics and Commerce’, payable at Varanasi.
